Cancer Support Community offers a way to connect with others through real-time professionally-led support groups, the ability to keep family and friends up-to-date on personal web pages, more than 20 discussion boards and a special space for teens impacted by cancer. Find Online Support

Cancer Support Community’s TOLL-FREE Cancer Support Helpline is for anyone affected by cancer. The helpline is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm EST and Friday from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm EST, but you are welcome to call anytime. If you receive a recording, please leave your name and contact number and one of our counselors will call you as soon as possible. Call 1-888-793-9355.

MyLifeLine.org allows you to create a private site to keep your community involved in your cancer journey, or join more than 2,000 online discussion board members supporting each other with information, opinions, stories, and inspiration.

The Foundation for Living Beauty provides wellness retreats, educational workshops, and support events to women living with cancer.

Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley provides broad public access to sexual and reproductive health care at no or low-cost.

Triage Cancer – Provides free education and resources on the practical and legal issues that arise after a cancer diagnosis.

Cancer and Careers Provides free education, services and information to survivors, healthcare providers, and employees nationwide about all issues related to work and cancer. 

Nutrition/Meals for Cancer Patients


A healthy diet is an important part of a cancer patient’s journey before, during, and after treatment.
CSC HQ’s Recipe Gallery is filled meals in sections relating to mouth pain, difficulty swallowing, nausea, and more. It can also help you feel better and respond better to cancer treatment.

Project Angel Food offers nutrition services and a free home-delivered meal program.

Support for Children in Families Affected by Cancer


Walk With Sally provides hope through their individualized mentoring and community support services to empower children experiencing trauma through a parent, guardian or sibling’s cancer journey.

Camp Kesen serves children who have lost a parent to cancer, undergoing treatment, or completed treatment.  The camp is approximately 1 week.

End of Life Planning and Supports


End of Life Choices provides information and personal support regarding California’s End of Life Option Act and all other legal end-of-life options to the medical community and to the public.
